About My Approach
A human approach to healing
I specialise in supporting people who experience anxiety—whether it feels like constant worry, overwhelming stress, panic, or a sense of being stuck. Anxiety can show up in many ways, and it often leaves us feeling isolated or exhausted. Anxiety can feel like racing thoughts, or the worry that never seems to switch off and it can hold you back from living the life you want. You are not alone in this, and reaching out for support is a brave and important first step.
I provide a safe and compassionate space where you can begin to understand your experience, develop practical tools to manage anxiety, and reconnect with a sense of calm and confidence. Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on both relief in the present and lasting change for the future. With the right support, it is possible to feel lighter, more confident, and more like you again.

The process I take
My approach is designed to be clear, supportive, and entirely focused on your progress. From our very first contact, the goal is to ensure you feel heard and to create a structured path that moves you away from overwhelm and towards a sense of lasting calm.
At the initial assessment, we will have already spoken at your free consultation about the areas causing you problems. During this session I ask more questions about this and identify in more depth, how our work together can help you resolve or feel relief from. The initial assessment also involves me taking basic details about you and check in on your current mood levels to give me a baseline of where we are beginning together from.
Our sessions are tailored specifically to your needs, blending traditional talk therapy with specialist EMDR techniques. We don’t just scratch the surface; we work through a structured process to identify triggers, calm your nervous system, and process the root causes of your anxiety at a pace that feels safe for you.
The aim of our work together is to help you transition from “surviving” to “thriving.” You can expect to develop a practical toolkit for managing daily stress, a reduction in the physical symptoms of anxiety, and a newfound sense of confidence that allows you to feel present and back in control of your life.
